Retrieving email with Outlook Express
Our Microsoft Outlook Express tutorial shows how to setup Outlook Express to retrieve email from your Renaissance Hosting accounts. To configure Outlook Express, follow the simple instructions below. Open Outlook
Express and choose "Tools" from the menu bar. Next, it will ask for an account name that Outlook Express will use to refer to this particular account, you can choose whatever you want but we recommend something like "My Renaissance Hosting account". If you log onto your ISP and then check your mail, choose "I will
establish connection manually". If you want Outlook Express to dial
into your ISP for you, then choose "Connect using my phone
line". If you choose the latter, you will need to contact your ISP
for instructions on configuring your dialer. Now to retrieve your mail, in the Outlook Express window, choose "Tools" from the menu bar. Then select "Send and Receive". |
